To keep up with the rapid pace of change, companies need to modernise and transform their business models and working environments in order to remain competitive. Meanwhile, the growth of advanced technologies is changing the types of skills and competences needed in the workplace and requires a change in the mindset of individuals, groups and organisations.<\/p>\n\n<p>The training aims to:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>developing critical thinking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strengthening analytical and problem-solving skills.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Understanding and building adaptability and resilience to change in the work environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Acquiring basic skills for employee empowerment (employee motivation and empowerment as key success factors for organisational transformation).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Understanding the importance of strategy in changing organisational (digital) performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The training will be delivered by <strong>Peter Ferfoglia<\/strong>, a PhD student (graduate) in sociology and research assistant at the Faculty of Applied Social Studies in Nova Gorica. He graduated with honours and obtained his Master&#8217;s degree as a commercial engineer at the Faculty of Business and Technology of the University of Nova Gorica, where he was also an assistant professor. With more than twenty years of working experience in business and education as a project and work group leader and with a background in Human Resource Management and Administration (GEMA Rome), he continues and improves his research in business with his doctoral thesis &#8220;The emotional social network: discovering and understanding emotions in organisations&#8221;.
