BORZEN: Non-repayable grants for investments in new electricity production devices from renewable energy sources and energy storage systems in combination with energy production (JP-OVE-02)

The purpose of the tender

To promote investments in new renewable energy (RES) power generation systems—primarily photovoltaic systems—and in energy storage systems that are integrated with new RES installations. The support is aimed at accelerating the green transition in the energy sector.

Available funds

Total available funding amounts to EUR 135,000,000, distributed by device type as follows:

Non-repayable grants are awarded depending on the device type and connection capacity.

Electronic submission of applications opens on 8 July 2024 at 10:00 AM via Borzen’s online application system.

Eligible activities

  • Purchase and installation of new electricity generation devices using RES (primarily solar energy)
  • Purchase and installation of a new energy storage system integrated with a new RES device

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible applicants include legal and natural persons investing in new photovoltaic electricity production systems or combinations with newly installed energy storage systems, in compliance with the conditions set out in the call documentation.
