Public Call for Co-financing Individual Participation at International Trade Fairs in the Period 2024–2028 (JR SEJMI 24–28)

Call Purpose

The purpose of this call is to promote the internationalization of Slovenian companies by co-financing their individual participation at international trade fairs abroad and in Slovenia during the period 2024–2028. The support is aimed at increasing companies’ competitiveness, visibility of Slovenian products/services, and entry into foreign markets.

Available Funds

The call is implemented within the framework of the European Cohesion Policy funds. The indicative total amount of funds available for the implementation of the public call is up to EUR 9,562,500.00. The funds are distributed across individual submission deadlines, cohesion regions, and trade fair locations..

Funding Amount

Funding is awarded as a lump sum based on the size of the exhibition space.
The maximum amount is EUR 18,043.00 per project.

Co-financing is provided under the de minimis aid rule.

Eligible Activities

Co-financing covers costs related to participation as an independent exhibitor at an international trade fair:

  • rental of exhibition space,
  • construction of the exhibition booth,
  • logistics and supporting activities,
  • presence of company staff,
  • pre- and post-fair activities (e.g., B2B meetings, promotion, follow-up with potential clients).

Special Conditions

  • The company must have at least one employee on the date of application submission.
  • The exhibition space must be at least 5 m² (abroad) or the subsidy must be at least EUR 3,000 (in Slovenia).
  • The applicant must be an SME with a registered office and activity in Slovenia.
  • Each application may refer to one trade fair; a maximum of two applications per deadline is allowed (one for abroad, one for Slovenia).
  • Funding is not available for tobacco products or primary agricultural or fisheries production.
  • Participation must comply with the “Do No Significant Harm” (DNSH) principle.
