(INACTIVE) Public Call for Co-Funding Strategies and Measures for Effective Management of Older Employees and Strengthening Their Competences (ASI+) – 2025 Call
The purpose of the tender
The purpose of the call is to support companies in developing and implementing strategies and/or plans of measures aimed at effective management of older employees and the strengthening of their competences to prolong their working activity. The call is part of the “Support for Companies to Extend Working Life (ASI+)” programme and is co-funded by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+).
Available Funds
The total indicative budget available for the implementation of the call in 2026–2027 is EUR 7,000,000, allocated as follows:
Eastern Slovenia Cohesion Region: 66%
Eastern Slovenia Cohesion Region: 66%
Western Slovenia Cohesion Region: 34%
The funds are further divided into:
Lot A (Strategy development): EUR 350,000
Lot B (Training and competence development):EUR 6,650,000

Eligible Activities
Funding is available for the following activities:
Lot A: Preparation of a strategy for effective management of older employees (not eligible for companies with 10 or fewer employees).
Lot B: Activities aimed at competence development of older employees, including:
Motivational programmes
Training in personal and career development
Acquisition of soft, general, and occupation-specific skills
Digital and green skills training Note: A personal and professional development plan (not co-funded) must be prepared for each participant.

Submission of Applications
Applications must be submitted in hard copy between 23 May 2025 and 23 June 2025. Submission address: Public Scholarship, Development, Disability and Maintenance Fund of the Republic of Slovenia, Dunajska cesta 20, 1000 Ljubljana
Eligible Applicants
Registered legal entities or cooperatives operating in Slovenia for at least 12 months before the call’s publication.
Minimum of 3 employees aged 50+ as of 23 May 2025.
Fulfilment of financial, legal, and other eligibility criteria (e.g., no outstanding tax debts, no ongoing bankruptcy, etc.).
Adherence to the “de minimis” state aid rule: max EUR 300,000 over a rolling three-year period.
Important Notes
Funding follows simplified cost models (unit costs): EUR 500 per consulting day (Lot A) and EUR 30 per hour per participant (Lot B).
The project implementation period ends on 31 December 2026.
Projects must align with the “Do No Significant Harm” (DNSH) principle.
