(INACTIVE) Public Call of the Sports Foundation for the Co-financing of Construction of Sports Facilities and Outdoor Sports Surfaces in 2026

Purpose of the call

The purpose is to support the construction, renovation and upgrading of sports facilities and outdoor sports surfaces that contribute to the improvement of sports infrastructure in Slovenia. The goal is to enhance conditions for sports activities, increase accessibility and ensure long-term sustainability of sports infrastructure.

Available funds

The total amount of non-repayable funds available is up to EUR 3,480,000 EUR

The call was published in the Official Gazette No. 88/2025 on 14 November 2025..

Application deadline

The deadline for submission of applications is 15 December 2025.

Funding amount

For large investments (estimated value above EUR 62,500 excluding VAT): up to 30% of the estimated investment value.

For small investments (estimated value up to EUR 62,500 excluding VAT): up to 50% of the estimated investment value.

Eligible activities

The following investment activities are eligible:

• construction of new sports facilities,
• renovation or upgrading of existing facilities,
• development of outdoor sports surfaces (paths, playgrounds, outdoor fitness areas, etc.),
• investments that improve safety and functionality of sports infrastructure.
