(INACTIVE) Support for Information and Promotion Activities for Products under Quality Schemes

The purpose of the tender

The purpose of the call is to co-finance information and promotion activities for products under various quality schemes, such as organic production, selected quality, protected geographical indication (PGI), protected designation of origin (PDO), and traditional specialty guaranteed (TSG).

The objectives of the intervention include increasing the visibility of these products, boosting consumer demand, improving collaboration among producers, and enhancing competitiveness in the EU internal market.

Available funds

The total amount of non-repayable funding available is EUR 1,135,000.

The funds will be provided from the ministry’s budget lines, as follows:

• EUR 750,235 from budget line 221065 – CAP Strategic Plan 2023–2027 – EAFRD – national contribution,
• EUR 384,765 from budget line 221064 – CAP Strategic Plan 2023–2027 – EAFRD – EU contribution.

The share from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) is 33.9%, and the share from the national budget of the Republic of Slovenia is 66.1%.

Funding rate

• 70% of eligible costs for information and promotion activities,
• an additional 10% for preparation of the activity plan.

Minimum support per application: EUR 5,000
Maximum support: EUR 200,000 per product or scheme; may increase by up to 10% for each additional product or scheme.

Application submission

Applications may be submitted from 23 June 2025 at 08:00 until 15 September 2025 at 14:00.

Eligible activities

• organization and implementation of fairs, presentations, workshops,
• creation of promotional websites and online presentations,
• preparation and distribution of promotional materials (leaflets, brochures),
• purchase of advertising space,
• tastings and public promotional events,
• personnel and travel costs for participating individuals.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible applicants include recognized producer groups or organizations and operators with appropriate certification under the relevant quality schemes.
