On 25 May, the Informatics Section (SI) of the GZDBK gathered at the Podbreznik Business Incubator (PIP) within the SRC-EDIH project. The President of the Section, Andrej Železnik from TEM Čatež, d. o. o., informed the attendees about the work of the Section in the past period and the future work programme. This was followed by a speech by Tomaž Kordiš, Director of GZDBK, on the state of Slovenia in the field of digital transformation and cultural innovation.
Franci Bratkovič, Director of the Novo mesto Development Centre, spoke about the technological challenges for the economy – the regional approach in SE Slovenia and the opportunities presented by the SRC-EDIH project. Janez Povh, Director of the Rudolfovo Institute, spoke about Industry 4.0 technology. This was followed by a presentation and practical demonstration of the SRC-EDIH test environment (Marko Rudolf from the Novo mesto Development Centre and the Rudolfovo Institute).
