CAPTURE THE DIGITAL FUTURE
Who are we?
SRC-EDIH is a European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) supporting the digital transformation of manufacturing companies and public organisations (in the public sector) in Slovenia, focusing on five key technologies: HPC, artificial intelligence, cyber security, blockchain and robotics. The Hub is a network of highly skilled hubs with extensive experience in delivering services to strengthen your organisation’s digital transformation. The Centre is made up of 13 partners working in different fields across Slovenia. SRC-EDIH is co-funded by the European Commission’s Digital Europe programme.
The digital transformation of organisations is a challenging but necessary process to make both the economy and the public sector competitive and contribute to the development of society as a whole. This transformation involves not only the introduction of new technologies, but also changes in business processes, culture and mindsets within organisations.
The European Union has set up a network of European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) to support businesses and the public sector in tackling digital challenges. It includes 151 hubs in 31 countries of the European Union and SRC-EDIH is one of two in Slovenia. SRC-EDIH, coordinated by the Novo mesto Development Centre, supports the digital transformation of manufacturing companies and public organisations. The Hub is supported by both the European Commission and the Ministry for Digital Transformation, which co-fund the SRC-EDIH project. SRC-EDIH is a consortium of 16 partner organisations and their experts who will use their knowledge and experience in various digital technologies to promote the digital transformation of organisations in Slovenia in the coming years. The consortium is made up of regional development agencies, colleges and universities, municipalities, chambers of commerce and industry, and various interest groups.
With SRC-EDIH support, companies and public organisations can use digital technologies to improve their business and production processes, products or services. All organisations involved in the SRC-EDIH ecosystem have access to technical expertise covered in 100 different training courses and access to 11 test environments to test advanced digital technologies before investing in them. Funding advice services and access to the innovation ecosystem are also available. Services are 80-100% subsidised.
Over the next two years, the Hub will support over 100 organisations and more than 1 000 employees to acquire digital skills and competences.
