Participants will learn how 3D scanning can have a positive impact on a company’s digital transition. Theoretical and practical information will be provided on the principles of different types of scanners and their fields of application. Practical demonstrations will show how scanners can be used in the measurement laboratory or in the field. Using computer tools, we will demonstrate the process of quality control and reverse engineering.
The focus will be on understanding the 3D scanning process, quality control using 3D scanning technology, reverse engineering and understanding the different potential applications of 3D scanners.
