The Virtual twin – simulate an innovative and competitive product training offers a concise and practical introduction to modelling and analysis. You will learn how to solve linear and non-linear problems, follow the progress of an edge problem, and review and understand the results of an analysis using an interactive pre and post processor.
About the speaker:
Since 2016, Dr. Marko Vrh has been working at CADCAM Lab, a member of the CADCAM Group, where he is responsible for the field of numerical simulations in Slovenia and the entire region in which the Group operates. He started his professional career in 2005 as a researcher at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Ljubljana, where he obtained his PhD in 2010. His research has combined analytical, numerical and experimental approaches. Throughout his professional career, in addition to his teaching and research work, he has also been involved in research and development projects, both at national and international level. Recently, he has been focusing on applied research, mainly in the field of automotive industry. Dr. Marko Vrh is a certified expert by Dassault Systemes in the field of SIMULIA software.
Competences acquired after the course:
- Building an FEM model;
- monitoring the progress of the analysis;
- review and analysis of the simulation results;
- solving structural problems taking into account non-linearities in material response, large deformations and contacts.
