Development Centre Novo mesto, coordinator of the SRC-EDIH project (Smart, Resilient and Sustainable
Communities – European Digital Innovation Hub ) was invited by SPIRIT Slovenia in February
attended a meeting between representatives of the EIT Knowledge and Innovation Community (EIT RIS HUB) and the Strategic
Innovation and Development Partnerships (IDIPs).
A working meeting of representatives of the two innovation networks, to which the following were invited
also
some decision-makers and other stakeholders, each with their own area of expertise
content relevant to the functioning and strengthening of the research and innovation ecosystem.
The meeting presented the two innovation networks and the good practices and challenges they are facing.
are confronted, with a view to increasing understanding of how they work, to linking them and to finding
potential synergies.
SRC-EDIH, as one of the European Digital Innovation Hubs, also contributed to the objectives of the meeting.
Hubs, supported by the European Commission, representing a new form of innovative and supportive
digitisation environments. The meeting resulted in a concrete set of ideas for strengthening
(co)operation of innovation networks in the future.
