Application of process mining in manufacturing
Processes in organisations are increasingly automated. Many machines are now digitised. Modern devices such as robots, sensors, grippers and so on are digital by design. They generate large amounts of data (Big Data) that can be used for useful purposes. The key challenge is how to capture all this data, cleanse it, link it and finally analyse it. Data can reveal useful information if we know how to process it. To do this, we need the right skills to process, analyse and visualise data. The training will introduce participants to the process of data processing and analysis. They will learn about several IT technologies that enable such processing and test their knowledge with practical examples. The workshop is strongly practical oriented.
Content of the training:
- More complex Excel functions
- Table joining and data classification functions (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP)
- Data cleaning and conversion tools
- Power Query
- Import data from various external sources using advanced queries
- Parsing, formatting, sorting and filtering data
- Linking tables and cleaning data
- Power Pivot
- Integrating data from different external sources
- Creating a data model (linking tables)
- DAX formulae
- Preparing pivot table analyses on top of a data model
- Time Intelligence DAX functions
- Data warehouse (OLAP)
- Design of indicators
- Building a Dashboard
- Power BI
- Import data from various external sources
- Building interactive visualisations
- Creating a data model (linking tables)
Target group and conditions for inclusion
Suitable for Excel users who have some experience with functions and know the basics of pivot tables. Recommended for anyone who wants to create advanced analyses, works with large amounts of data or faces challenges in integrating data from different sources.
