The digital age and the associated digital transformation has become a global consensus among businesses. Companies need to change their business models to take advantage of the exponential changes brought about by the full emergence of the digital age, to be able to act faster and adapt faster to a rapidly changing environment. Digital transformation is forcing organisations to change the way they operate, to the extent that in many companies it has become a fundamental part of the company’s (HR) strategy and business model. This training is about understanding and designing HRM approaches towards employee-centred digitalisation, as digital transformation leads to changes in employee behaviour, service and product evaluation and expectations. In particular, the training focuses on effective change management.
The training aims to:
- understanding the importance and multifaceted nature of change management.
- Understanding the role and importance of change management.
- Knowledge and use of modern approaches, models and tools to improve the change management process.
- Knowledge of current developments in the field of change management.
- Reflection on the complexity of the professional and social roles of employees in managing change.
- Understanding how social change management is situated in broader social, cultural and value contexts, with a focus on digitalisation.
