In an active and experiential way, we will come to understand circular business models and the potential they offer. Through practical examples, we will analyse where the opportunities and risks lie. The focus will be on cultivating a mindset that fosters innovation and business success. The role of digital technologies as enablers of innovative business models and user experiences will be put in the context of sustainable development. Participants will gain knowledge and ideas on how to improve their competitiveness while introducing new digital solutions for better long-term business success and positive impact on the environment and society.
Four groups of Industry 4.0 digital technologies that support and enable sustainable development (and circularity) will be presented:
1.Data, which provides the engine for the digital economy.
2.Connectivity, which provides the data flow, feedback loops and the engine for Group 1.
3. Trust, in terms of data and activities, refers to transparency, visibility and accountability in business.
4.Enhancement, in terms of asset management: sensors, smart analytics, physical and biological monitoring, resource efficiency, waste and pollution reduction.
The training will be delivered in two parts:
